THIRDSTONE NEWS AND NOTES:
Greetin's everyone....Here's all the latest news from ThirdStone-Land in Funnville. Here's some more details on the holiday show party (this Friday, Dec. 12) and Open House (Sunday, Dec 14) below.
------------------------------
HOLIDAY SHOW OPEN HOUSE AND PARTY - THIS WEEKEND (dec. 12 thru 14) -

ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARTY - THIS FRIDAY EVENING, DEC. 12" 6 TIL 9PM.
Tons of new art and LOTS of affordable paintings, drawings, gifts, fine craft, jewelry and more. Plus, our usual array of tasty homemade treats and luscious libations (Admiral Pluto's legendary "Salsa Bar" & good cheap vino!) Join the party, visit with your friends and the ThirdStone artists and, Let us help you finish your holiday shopping More details below. DON'T MISS IT!

Yep! It's time - join us for the party this friday evening (6 til 9PM) Your chance have some fun and tasty treats and, to see what we've put together for this great annual event. Aside from new art from some of our regulars (such as myself, Tom DePree, Sarah Hurley, Michel Balasis, Sharon Micheal, Mary Hatch and others), were going to introduce to a couple new artists - a whole pile of deliciously quirky and charismatic paintings from Janice DeJonge and, a huge array of the highly provocative and lushly detailed mixed media "paintings" of Chicago artist Isz. We've also got Erin Chapla's everpopular crocheted caps and cool fabric handbags, a pile of Ruth Bever's handcrafted throw pillows, napkin sets and pet afghans, LOTS of new jewelry from Monique Borrego and Tracy Rutter, and a huge batch of brand new rich and luscious collographs from Cindy Ricksgers and, the latest series (and some archive pieces too) of delicious Japanese woodblock prints from Mary Brodbeck. Rumour has it that we might be meeting a few of Sarah Hurley's crazy handmade puppet creatures.

As for myself, I've taken many of the remaining Assembloid creations from last month's "Ruin Your Decor" show and priced 'em really low... possibly the 'perfect' gift for the persons on your list that you don't quite know what to give them (um, well...). Anyway, there's definitely some ludicrous stuff at really cheap prices in any case!

In addition to all of the above, many of our artists have, as usual, come up with some rather astounding, fun and highly affordable holiday gift ideas too.
